Terms of Use

The following terms and conditions govern the access and use of services offered by travel agencies associated ANATO on the following website and in the mobile application "Welcome to Colombia "(together, the" Services ").

Use of the information contained herein, are contingent on the full acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth below.

These Terms of Use affect your legal rights and obligations. If you do not agree to be bound by all of these Terms of Use, do not access or use the Services.


Any information entered by the user will be used by ANATO in order to manage the Services.  The collection and use of information is govern by the Privacy Policy

By means of this terms, it is informed that  the use of the website and mobile application "Welcome to Colombia" entail express consent for the collection of information and  personal data of the User.

Services Content

Considered services content as any information, text, graphics, pictures or other material uploaded played through the website and mobile application.

 Any content exposed either publicly or privately, is liability of the Travel Agencies who created such content. ANATO won’t supervise nor control the content played through the website and mobile application; therefore responsibility for the accuracy and compliance of the information on the Services will be solely from the Agency Travel, hence any claim thereunder shall be directly to it.


The posted services are from a third party (Travel Agency) that advertises through the website

Therefore, the  compliance of the obligations associated to the tourist services offered in the plan, are in charge of the Travel Agency with whom you choose to use the tour package; which is properly identified in the respective announcement with phones, email , website and destination.

The User agreed that Services will be rendered in the conditions set up by the Travel Agency, and are subject to the availability of the tourism plan.

ANATO is not responsible for the compliance of such obligations nor for the content of such advertising. The Travel agency is solely responsible for any damage or losses caused to the User for the services rendered.


Services may contain links to websites or third party sources alien ANATO, these links are not controlled, edited neither have some connection with the Association; thus is not responsible for the content, information or services contained in them.

The purpose of the links is purely informative; those are provided by third parties and are limited only to disclose the User other sources of information related to the products offered.

Limitation of Liability

ANATO won’t assume any liability for the content, errors or omissions in the information on the webpage and the mobile application, neither for damage or losses whatsoever which has occurred as a result of using content reproduced, transmitted or available through the Services.


The Travel Agency shall be solely liable for the use that is given to services, for any content provided and for any consequences arising therefrom, including the use by third parties.

ANATO is not responsible, nor shall be joint debtor, nor shall be subject to legal action for the products or services offered by travel agencies through the website and mobile application.

Travel Agencies will be responsible for the claims from the users for the quality of its products and services, the accuracy of its publication and the incentives offered.

Intellectual Property

Travel Agencies must be the titleholders or have the rights over trademarks and distinctive signs used in information or content uploaded on the website. In case of not having   legally rights over the intellectual property information; liability for such behavior will be exclusively for the travel agency.

Governing Law & Venue

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Colombia.

Any dispute arising from this agreement, its existence, validity, interpretation, scope or compliance will be subject to applicable law, and to the competent courts of the city of Bogotá; the process will be conducted in Spanish.


Policy against exploitation, childhood pornography, sexual tourism and other forms of sexual abuse with minors

The following policy describes the legislation in force against exploitation, childhood pornography, sexual tourism and other forms of sexual abuse with minors; which is intended to protect children from all type of sexual violence or exploitation from national and foreigner tourists.


This policy applies to all tourism operators in Colombia, and is mandatory for Anato’s Travel Agencies that appear in the webpage and in the mobile application “Welcome to Colombia”, same for users of the services.

Travel Agents Obligations

Travel Agencies shall refrain from offering within the tourism programs, expressly or tacitly, plans of children exploitation.

Travel Agencies shall inform to their employees, dependents and intermediaries that is forbidden to offer tourist orientation or sexual contacts with minors.

Tourism operators shall have a Conduct Code that promotes prevention policies, to avert the utilization and exploitation of children and adolescents.

Travel Agencies shall refrain from give information to the tourists, regarding the places where is coordinated or is practiced sexual exploitation of minors.

Travel Agencies will not lead tourists, directly or through third parties to establishments or place where sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is practiced, so as lead minors to sites where the tourists are hosted, even is a boat located in an open sea, with the purpose of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.

Travel Agencies will not facilitate vehicles in tourism routes with the intention of exploitation or sexual abuse with children and adolescents.

It is also forbidden any other conduct that could affect the sexual development of children and adolescents, and the ones regulated in Colombian legislation.


In case of knowing any violation against this policy by the travel agencies in the services rendered in the webpage and in the mobile application, you must denounce before the competent authorities.


In case travel agencies breach the obligations described above, they will incur in criminal and administrative penalties regulated in Colombian legislation.

Users who acquire childhood pornography or realize any conduct, which threaten minors sexual formation, will incur in penalties established in Criminal Code, in addition of  civil and administrative penalties.



Privacy Policy

The following privacy policy and personal data’s protection regulates the collection, storage, management and protection of information provided by the Users.

Personal information submitted by the User shall be administered accordance the laws in force in Colombia, regarding the handling of information in personal databases.

This Privacy Policy contains the following terms and conditions:

  • Hereby, the User authorized ANATO to collect, record, process, disseminate, compile, share, update and have personal data or information on the terms set out in this policy.


  • No data considered sensitive will be stored according Law 1581 of 2012


  • No personal data of children and adolescents will be collected, except information considered of public nature. For this purpose, the following requirements must be met:

1. Reply and respect the best interests of children and adolescents.

2. Ensure their fundamental rights.

3. The legal representative of the child or adolescent shall grant prior authorization of the minor, to exercise his right to be heard; opinion will be valued taking into account the maturity, independence and ability to understand the issue.


  • The User agrees to provide authentic, accurate and valid information; is responsible for the content and the damage caused to ANATO or third parties.


  •  The user must keep the information updated at all times.


  • ANATO will not collect unnecessary information and commit to maintain its confidentiality and security.


  • ANATO shall place "cookies" in order to collect information about how you use the web page and provide features to the User.


  • ANATO will use information provided by users, to analyze and enhance the service rendered; as identifying user’s geographic location, compiling statistics, send news and other tasks for service improvement.


  • User’s personal data will keep as confidential; it only will be disclosed by requirement from a legal authority. In the event, this information must be shared with third parties; ANATO will communicate its nature and will compel the third party to keep it in the same way.


  • The User who want to update, modify, correct, amend or delete the information provided, must send an email to 


  • The User could request proof of authorization granted to the Responsible, unless the collected data are one of the excluded in Section 10, Law 1581 of 2012.


  • The User has the right to be informed by the Responsible; prior request, the use that has been given to its personal data.


  • The user could submit to the Superintendence of Industry and Trade (SIC for the Spanish initials) complaints for violations of the in force legislation.


  • The user could revoke the authorization and request data’s elimination, when the principles, rights and legal and constitutional guarantees are not respected in the treatment. The removal will apply when the Superintendence of Industry and Trade has determined that the Responsible has incurred in a contrary conduct.


  • ANATO won’t have any liability for the results by the entry of third parties to the database or the use of the information by the Travel Agencies for the services advertised in this webpage and mobile application "Welcome to Colombia."
